A seasoned engineer, data-driven marketer, and born entrepreneur, Onega Ulanova is the dynamic force behind OKGlobal

At OKGlobal, she leverages her extensive experience in API auditing and consultation to provide valuable services to companies operating within the oil and gas sector.

Onega's journey began in Kazakhstan, where she graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Karaganda State Technical University, specializing in Standardization, Metrology, and Certification. Driven by an insatiable desire to learn and grow, she mastered the English language in a mere six months.

She then continued her academic journey at Louisiana Tech University in the United States, where she earned an MS in Engineering and Technology Management and later, an Executive MBA. These additional qualifications honed her leadership skills, enabling her to deliver more value to her clients and elevate OKGlobal's services.

Onega's illustrious career started at the American Petroleum Institute, where she distinguished herself as the organization's youngest female auditor.

She conducted audits at over 100 facilities across six different countries, thereafter stepping into roles as a Quality Consultant and a Business Development Manager. Over the years, Onega has cultivated over 5000 professional relationships spanning all organizational levels within the global upstream oil and gas industry.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Onega nurtures her personal growth through reading and participating in triathlons. She also enjoys traveling and values the peace found in solitary moments.

In 2016, Onega embarked on a new entrepreneurial venture as the Co-Founder of the LA New Product Development Team. With personal investments and a dedicated partner, she guided the company's expansion from two to 20 full-time employees and contractors globally. Under her stewardship, the team developed more than 600 products, leading to recognition from numerous renowned media outlets in the business and entrepreneurial sectors.

Onega's commitment to the oil and gas industry is underpinned by her belief in its significant global impact and its role in maintaining our daily comforts. She founded OKGlobal upon identifying an untapped market need, intending to drive consistent growth within the industry.
